FSiix Resources sources and trades high-purity antimony ingots produced through direct smelting of antimony ore and antimony sulfide at vetted origin facilities. Antimony's hardness, corrosion resistance, and alloying properties make it a strategically important input across batteries, fire retardants, alloys, electronics, and specialty glass — and its recent classification as a critical mineral by the United States, European Union, and United Kingdom has made secure, reliable supply a priority for manufacturers worldwide.
Antimony (Sb) is a metalloid valued for its hardness, low melting point relative to other industrial metals, and ability to improve the mechanical and chemical properties of the materials it's alloyed or compounded with. FSiix works with origin smelters that produce antimony ingot through direct smelting of stibnite ore and antimony sulfide concentrate, prioritising recovery efficiency and consistent purity across shipments.
Global supply is concentrated in a small number of producing regions, and export policy shifts in recent years have made antimony one of the more closely watched critical minerals in industrial supply chains. FSiix's origin network is structured to give buyers a dependable alternative sourcing route, backed by documentation that supports customs clearance and quality verification on arrival.
Origin smelters in FSiix's antimony network follow a metallurgical process built for recovery and purity, from raw ore through to the finished ingot.
High-grade stibnite ore is sourced, graded, crushed to liberation size, and pre-concentrated before entering the smelting circuit. Only feed meeting minimum grade thresholds is accepted.
Controlled volatilisation roasting drives off sulfur and captures antimony as oxide fumes. The residue is reduced in a reverberatory furnace at 900–1,000°C to crude antimony metal.
Crude antimony is refined via chlorination in graphite-lined reactors, selectively removing arsenic, lead, and trace impurities, then cast into 25 kg silver-grey ingots and tested before despatch.
Antimony's hardness, low melting point, and chemical reactivity make it difficult to substitute across five high-value industrial sectors.
Every shipment is backed by mill certificates, weight certification, and XRF-verified purity, matched against your required grade before it ships.
Antimony supply is geopolitically concentrated. FSiix's network spans multiple origin facilities to reduce single-source dependency and keep availability steady.
Full export documentation — packing lists, certificates of origin, mill certificates, and UN 3077 dangerous goods classification — coordinated for smooth customs clearance.
Antimony pricing has been unusually volatile since 2023, driven by export restrictions from dominant producing regions and critical-mineral designation from major economies.
Antimony ingot FOB pricing has moved by tens of thousands of dollars per tonne within single years amid export-policy shifts and shifting industrial demand, so we don't publish a static reference price here — anything printed on a page would likely be stale within weeks.
